VideoRay Scout

The VideoRay Scout system includes the 8-pound submersible, control box, 40 m (131 ft) of neutrally buoyant tether, manual, and tool kit. All components fit neatly in a watertight, rolling Pelican case that fits easily in the trunk of a car or in airline luggage compartments. The entire system is stored in the Pelican case and weighs 32 kg (70 lbs).

The Scout is depth rated to 91 m (300 ft). Among the Scout's features are a new skid and nozzles developed by NASA, a boost in thrust by nearly 80 percent over previous models, and a three-axis joystick.

The Scout includes a color camera and a 5 inch LCD color display monitor. An external video monitoring/recording device that has a composite video input- typically a TV/VCR combination - is recommended for recording missions.

VideoRay Explorer

The VideoRay Explorer system includes the 8-pound submersible, control box, 76 m (250 ft) of tether, manual, and tool kit. All components fit neatly in two watertight, rolling Pelican cases that fit easily in the trunk of a car or in airline luggage compartments. The entire system is stored in the Pelican cases and weighs less than 45 kg (100 lbs).

The Explorer is depth rated to 91 m (300 ft). Among Explorer's features are a new skid and nozzles developed by NASA, a boost in thrust over previous models by nearly 80 percent, automatic depth control, and a three-axis joystick.

The Explorer includes a color camera and a 5 inch LCD color display monitor. An external video monitoring/recording device that has a composite video input- typically a TV/VCR combination - is recommended for recording missions.

VideoRay Pro III

The VideoRay Pro III is ideal for commercial applications. It includes the submersible, integrated control box, 76 m (250 ft) of tether, manual, two watertight, rolling Pelican cases, and tool kit. The Pro III is depth rated to 152 m (500 ft). Standard features that go beyond those offered on the Scout and Explorer include high thrust 60 mm props, on-screen data display, black and white, ultra low light rear facing camera with LED light array, audio annotation system, and an integrated control box with the capability to incorporate both a recording device such as a camcorder, and a viewing screen, all in one case. The Pro III is also PC computer control enabled, allowing operators to control the Pro III using wireless game controllers. The Pro III can even be controlled by software applications or remotely via a network.

The Pro III can accommodate instrumentation and tools such as: scanning imaging sonar for low visibility environments; manipulator for object retrieval or intervention; positioning system for exhaustive area searches; water quality sensor, metal thickness gauge, and more. Pro III units can accommodate additional neutrally buoyant, negatively buoyant, or positively buoyant tether extensions to reach up to 305 m (1,000 ft) in overall distance but limited to 152 m (500 ft) in water depth.

VideoRay Deep Blue

The VideoRay Deep Blue is ideally suited for deep missions. It includes the submersible, integrated control box, 335 m (1,100 ft) of tether, manual, two watertight, rolling Pelican cases, and tool kit. The Deep Blue is depth rated to 305 m (1000 ft). Standard features that go beyond those offered on the Pro III include the Professional Performance Package (for superior operation) and SeaSprite Scanning Sonar. Like the Pro II, the Deep Blue is also PC computer control enabled, allowing operators to control the Deep Blue using wireless game controllers. The Pro III can even be controlled by software applications or remotely via a network.

The Deep Blue can accommodate instrumentation and tools such as: scanning imaging sonar for low visibility environments; manipulator for object retrieval or intervention; positioning system for exhaustive area searches; water quality sensor, metal thickness gauge, and more.

For all of the above, the Tether Deployment System (TDS) is an excellent option for quick coiling and recoiling of the tether.
